For this project, BSWi planned and executed a multi-stage solution in 2 of the client's most populous cities.
BSWi adopted an innovative approach that involved comprehensive analysis of existing infrastructure, followed by staggered implementation of advanced technology and tailored safe city processes and procedures.
To meet the client’s requirements, BSWi created a tailored solution based on multiple factors including geography, infrastructure, criminal justice system, demographic, budget, and the cities’ future objectives.
The Safe City project involved the integration of a range of technologies into one comprehensive system. This improved each city’s security and connected them to enable enhanced collaboration and synchronization.
The solution comprised a central control room, several regional command centers, and mobile command vehicles. The command center was equipped with integrated Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, a Video Management System (VMS), and a call center.
All subsystems, units, and sensors (including cameras) deployed in the cities were connected to the respective command centers and transmitted real-time data to create a Safe City common operating picture.
To cope with the increasing volume of information accumulated, and the new challenges associated with the connected sensors and devices, BSWi established an innovative and scalable data center utilizing our unique, proprietary big data technology.
This enabled complex analysis of the vast amounts of information collected, and provided a simple means of extracting intelligent insights.
