The solution employed advanced security equipment, techniques, and procedures to control and monitor access to the data center. It ensured that anyone entering the center would have to pass through a minimum of 4 security checkpoints that are monitored around the clock.
BSWi is committed to promoting renewable energy and lowering CO2 emissions. We designed the center using innovative practices that reduced the system’s ecological footprint, and supported low power consumption and reduced CO2 emissions.
The data center’s power system incorporated uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) systems with an N+1 redundancy level or greater.
The design incorporated a standby generator system in case of a local utility failure. In case of a power outage, the center was designed to switch immediately to battery power with generators capable of powering the entire site activated just 8 seconds later.
