The ever-widening gap between supply and demand in the IT, information and cybersecurity fields constitutes one of the primary obstacles to organizations’ ability to maintain a reasonable security posture. Estimates vary, but there is general consensus that the industry currently has over one million open positions.
There are two main issues: a lack of comprehensive information and cybersecurity educational programs, and a confusing array of overly narrow or vendor-specific security certifications.
The need for a broad, balanced, technical and experiential program has led BSWi to develop a three-year course offering both theoretical and practical training.
