Cellular calls, WhatsApp sessions and instant messaging are just some of the methods inmates employ to communicate with the outside world. Radio jamming ensures that they cannot make any unauthorized contact, thus preventing information leaks and enhancing prison security and that of society as a whole.
To limit and control communication between inmates and the outside world, BSWi provides end-to-end cellular, WiFi, and RF jamming solutions, either as part of a full turnkey correctional facility platform, or as an add-on to existing centers.
The process begins with a thorough RF site survey, evaluation of the available cellular network, and a study of the relevant signals. BSWi then develops an appropriate solution that will prevent all unauthorized communication via WiFi, radio (VHF/UHF), and cellular networks. Our team also designs and deploys centralized management systems to verify that each of the deployed jammers is operational and performing as desired. We have experience installing a whole host of outdoor, waterproof, and weatherproof jamming devices on the premises of numerous correctional facilities, as well as maintaining their service for extended periods of time.
As an additional precautionary measure, BSWi will also carry out bug and eavesdropping sweeps and provide cell phone detectors as well as selective jamming solutions.
