Any BSWi IT project lifecycle covers the five basic phases of project management: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and project closure. The main difference lies in the way we manage the project lifecycle.
The most common BSWi IT methodology employed is the waterfall model which consists of a predictive linear process. The entire project is defined before it commences, and each phase is initiated and completed before moving on to the next one.
At BSWi we also employ the Agile method which requires the adoption of a more iterative or incremental approach. This involves the repetition of phases, with each iteration an amalgamation of the planning, analysis, and design phases that delivers on a specific goal.
